VCDEasy is a VideoCD authoring software
VCDEasy is a VideoCDs (VCD/SVCD) authoring tool that allows you to play/watch your videos (from DV camcorder, DivX, DVD,...), your pictures (from digital camera, scanner,...) and your audio files (music, audio comments,...) directly on most of the home DVD players, without having to buy a DVD Writer and DVD discs. A VideoCD ("Video Compact Disc") is stored on a CD (CD-R or CD-RW)... a cheap way to make DVD-like discs at home!

Audio2VCD is a MPEG audio encoder
Specially designed for the VCDEasy users, Audio2VCD lets you convert your audio files into the MPEG Audio format required by the VideoCDs (VCD and SVCD) (WAV is also available as output format).
Coupled with VCDEasy, Audio2VCD allows you to create AudioVCDs (more than 4 hours of music with CD quality one one CD-R disc, up to 12 hours with good quality), and multimedia VideoCDs with mixed audio files, pictures and videos.

Audio2VCD 2.0.0 FREEWARE !

There is now a fully functionnal FREEWARE version of Audio2VCD. No more conversion limitation, but users have to convert their files one by one.
The commercial version of Audio2VCD is the same as the freeware version but with a batch mode, allowing the conversion of several files in one step.
The changes between the versions 2.0.0 and 1.1.0 are:
- New: Ability to convert to the WAV audio format (in addition to the MPEG Audio Layer II for VideoCD). Thus, you can use Audio2VCD to make MP3->WAV, WMA->WAV and OGG->WAV convertions too!
- Fixed: Partial rewrite of the Threads Manager of the batch mode (the batch freezed in some cases)
- New option: "If Destination file exists... Overwrite existing file/Generate an error/Generate new file name
- New option: "On error... Stop batch/Ask/Continue"
- New option: "Delete source file when converted"
- New option: "Scan all subfolders when adding folder to batch queue"
- New option: "Immediately remove successfully processed files from batch queue"
- New: Added Spanish (Castellano) Translation by Antonio Fernández
- New: Added Swedish Translation by Mikael Hedman
